HackTrain Powered by InnoTrans
With an impressive number of over 140 thousand visitors, Innotrans has fast become the grandest transport technology fair in 2018. With sponsors such as Network Rail, Deutsche Bahn, SilverRail, ORM and Fujitsu, the first ever hackathon at InnoTrans 2018 will be transforming the trade fair with an awe inspiring impact.
This momentous event will consist of 60 hackers and a riveting 4 day hackathon that enlists amazing hackers, such as yourself, to use their chosen skills, whether designer, developer, entrepreneur or magical unicorn, and create fresh, unprecedented ideas. You will be creating the future of rolling stock, improving customer experience, and even tackling operational challenges that the rail industry currently faces.
With challenges and datasets in hand from the industry’s top rolling stock manufacturers, train operators and suppliers, the final 60 will be raring to go in the prestigious Business Lounge. You will begin a non-stop work adventure from Wednesday to Thursday to build your highly anticipated prototypes by utilising hardware sensors, machine learning and data analysis techniques.
On the Friday, the first half on the day is spent presenting the outcomes of the hackathon to the judges. The triumphant team walks away with the all desired title of being the first ever winners of HackTrain InnoTrans.
